Hi! I'm Kayla, a freelance videographer, photographer, and editor based in New York.

Born and raised in Virginia. Lived and learned in New York. I'm a photographer, videographer, and editor who loves to document events in an intimate and nostalgic way.

I grew up with a camera in my hand taking pictures of everything and everyone around me. I started my film journey making home videos in high school for birthdays, vacations, anniversaries, reunions, and yearly wraps.

I also happen to be a fashion design major and painfully worked in the industry for four years before taking my film business full-time. I sit and gaze at the intersection of fashion and filmmaking, and the importance its played in portraying our most cherished stories.

I have an eye for symmetry and balance, and I specialize in capturing informal moments in casual and creative ways. Think half digital/ half home movie with a music video cadence, and a splash of nostalgia. You can picture it, right?
